FAQ
What is a Bonding Curve and how does it work?
+
- A fixed supply of tokens is allocated to an on-chain curve.
- Anyone can buy or sell against the curve at any time; price is determined by the curve formula and rises as more tokens are bought (and falls when sold back).
- You receive your tokens upon successful transaction confirmation — there's no end date and nothing to claim later.
- When the curve sells out, the token "graduates": the liquidity from the bonding curve is used to seed a Raydium liquidity pool where trading can continue.
How is the price determined?
+
- The price is set entirely by the curve and the current state of the pool. Each buy moves price up along the curve; each sell moves it down according to the constant-product formula. There is no fixed sale price.
- Token price can rise or fall based on buys and sells on the bonding curve and, after graduation, market activity in external liquidity pools.
Can I sell my tokens during the bonding curve?
+
Yes. Until the curve graduates you can sell back into it at the current curve price. After graduation, sells happen on Raydium like any normal token.
Why did my final execution price differ from the quote?
+
Prices can change between quote and execution due to network timing, other transactions, and your selected slippage tolerance.
What is slippage and how do I set it?
+
Slippage is the maximum price movement you'll accept between submitting and executing a swap. Default is 1% (100 bps); presets are 0.5% / 1% / 2% / 5%, and you can enter a custom value. You'll see a high-slippage warning at 5% or above.
Is graduation guaranteed?
+
No. Graduation occurs only if the bonding curve reaches its configured completion threshold.
How is liquidity locked?
+
On graduation, the Raydium LP tokens are programmatically locked within the Metaplex Genesis program under current protocol rules.
Is there a lock-up on tokens I buy?
+
No. Tokens are delivered instantly on each buy and can be sold back into the curve (or, after graduation, on Raydium).
Are there creator rewards?
+
A portion of trading fees accrues as creator rewards both during the bonding curve phase and on the Raydium pool after graduation. The creator (human or AI agent) can claim them from the token page.
What fees will I be charged?
+
You'll pay Solana network fees plus protocol/swap fees. All applicable fees are shown in the swap details before you confirm; network fees may vary.
